Privacy Policy

This policy explains what personal data RugSniffer (rugsniffer.com, the "Service", "we") collects, why, and what you can do about it. Questions or requests: support@rugsniffer.com.
1. What we collect

We do not collect payment card data. We never ask for, and never want, your wallet seed phrase or private keys. Payments are made on the Solana blockchain, which is public: anyone can see the sending wallet and the amount of any transaction.
2. Cookies and local storage
- sk_session: a strictly necessary cookie that keeps you signed in (up to 30 days).
- sk_oauth: a strictly necessary cookie that protects the Google sign-in step (10 minutes).
- Your browser's local storage keeps interface preferences (theme, card density, feed filters, sound and notification switches, comparison list). This data stays on your device.
We use no advertising cookies, no analytics trackers and no third-party marketing tools.
3. Legal bases (GDPR)
- Contract: running your account, delivering Pro features and processing your payment.
- Legal obligation: keeping payment records required by tax and accounting law.
- Legitimate interests: server logs for security and service reliability.
4. Who receives your data
We do not sell or rent personal data. We use these providers to run the Service:
- Hetzner Online: hosting. Our servers are located in the European Union (Finland).
- Google: sign-in.
- Telegram: message delivery, only if you connect Telegram.
When you open the site, your browser also loads fonts from Google Fonts and token images from third-party image hosts (for example DexScreener and IPFS gateways). Those providers receive your IP address as part of the request. Links to pump.fun, DexScreener, RugCheck, Solscan and wallet apps lead to services with their own privacy policies.
5. How long we keep data
- Account data: until you ask us to delete your account.
- Payment records: for as long as tax and accounting law requires.
- Server logs: up to 30 days.
- Database backups: up to 14 days, then overwritten.
6. Your rights
You can ask us to access, correct, delete or export your personal data, to restrict its use, or object to it. Email support@rugsniffer.com from the address linked to your account. We answer within one month. You can disconnect Telegram yourself in Account. If you are unhappy with how we handle your data, you can complain to your data protection authority; in Spain this is the Agencia Española de Protección de Datos (aepd.es).
7. Security
The site is served over HTTPS only, sessions use signed cookies, and access to the servers is restricted to the operator.
8. Age
The Service is not intended for anyone under 18, and we do not knowingly collect data from minors.
9. Changes
If we change this policy, we will publish the new version on this page with a new effective date. Significant changes will also be announced on the site.
